We are now accepting registrations for the following: • Pee Wee (must be in 3rd grade or under, and may not reach their 9th birthday before 11/15)• Freshmen (must be in 5th grade or under, and may not reach their 11th birthday before 11/15) • Junior Varsity (must be in 7th grade or under, and may not reach their 13th birthday before 11/15) • Varsity (must be in 10th grade or under, and may not reach their 16th birthday before 11/15) Before registering your child for Alden Junior Football and Cheerleading, please be advised of the following information that MUST be brought with you on the date of registration. • REGISTRATION FEE - $80.00 for the first child, $70 for the second child and $50.00 for the third child. Maximum $200.00 per family. • MEDICAL / PYSICAL FORM – dated after 08/01/2009. PHYSICALS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON BOTH REGISTRATION DATES! PLEASE BRING YOUR CHILD TO REGISTRATION! • VOLUNTEERS FEE - A $50.00/family deposit will be assessed at registration. Once your shift has been worked, AND your child’s uniform/equipment is returned, your $50.00 deposit will be refunded. (PLEASE MAKE THIS PAYMENT IN THE FORM OF A SEPARATE CHECK) • CURRENT PICTURE - within 2 years • BIRTH CERTIFICATE - if new player • CANDY MONEY - $52.00 - each participant is required to sell a box of candy bars. *An additional $25.00 payment per participant may be made in lieu of selling candy bars. If you are making the $25.00 payment instead of selling candy bars, you must inform AJFC of this at the time of registration. (PLEASE MAKE THIS PAYMENT IN THE FORM OF A SEPARATE CHECK) You may not take the candy bars and then return them at a later date and pay the $25.00.THERE IS A FULL AND COMPLETE REGISTRATION PACKET THAT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU AT REGISTRATION. THAT AND ALL AFORE MENTIONED ITEMS MUST BE TURNED IN TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION OF YOUR CHILD. ANY MISSING ITEMS WILL DELAY THE REGISTRATION PROCESS AND WILL NOT GAURANTEE YOUR CHILD A POSTION ON THE ROSTER. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Parents/Guardians – Upon registering your child and signing the registration form, you are agreeing to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by Alden Junior Football and Cheerleading and the Hunter J. Kelly Football & Cheerleading League and are accepting all responsibilities. Board meetings are 12 months a year on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Whistle Stop. These meetings are open to everyone and your input is always welcome. This is the place to voice any problems, complaints or suggestions. Please remember that we are all volunteers, and if there is something that you are not happy with you can change it by being an active participant. If you think you can do something better, please help out. If you are not willing to help to improve a situation but still insist on complaining from afar, you are then part of the problem, not part of the solution.
Alden Junior Football and Cheerleading 2010The Alden Junior Football and Cheerleading organization is a member of the Hunter James Kelly Youth Football and Cheerleading. Our mission is to provide participants with a challenging youth sports experience dedicated to sportsmanship, fair play and having fun. The 2010 season schedule is now underway. The Hunter James Kelly Youth Football & Cheerleading Association shall promote interest in youth football and cheerleading by disseminating information, promoting and sponsoring educational and athletic training programs, conducting youth football and cheerleading clinics, seminars and competitions to develop football and cheerleading skills for the children of our communities. Each participant shall learn the fundamentals of the sport and be encouraged to build a sense of camaraderie among teammates and respect for opponents. All organizations affiliated with the Association shall faithfully abide by the principles of sportsmanship and fair play. It is these main principles that form the foundation on which the Association shall operate.Mission Statement
To encourage athletic endeavors, promoting the physical, mental and moral development of children by providing the means through which the individual child shall receive education and instruction in football & cheerleading to develop a sense of fair play,honest and fair competition and true sportsmanship.
